It just occurred to me that this is the third strip in a row featuring Purple Tentacle. That was entirely unintentional. I'll try to give all of the characters an equal amount to do, but in my mind the main characters of this strip are Bernard, Hoagie, and Purple Tentacle. The second tier of characters is comprised of Dr. Fred, Laverne, Green Tentacle and the Horse. Last but not least are the novelty goods salesman, and Dwayne (the suicidal guy -- yet to be introduced in this strip). I may also bring in Oozo the clown, if I can figure out a way to do that.
