It occurred to me the other day while playing the Curse of Monkey Island that Murray (the talking skull) sounded similar to Purple Tentacle. So I looked it up on the Internet Movie Database, and lo and behold, both parts are played by the same guy -- Denny Delk. He also did the voices for Hoagie and Green Tentacle.

Anyway, I just thought that was kind of interesting.
